ACCOUNT

Get your login details ready

Create an account and save your credentials

Open the account creation page in the VPNRV user dashboard, enter a username and password, and follow the on-screen instructions. No email address is required; your username and password are the credentials you’ll use to access the dashboard. Choose a recognizable username and a password you don’t use on other sites. Store it in a trusted password manager rather than a public note or shared document.

After creating your account, make sure you’re in the user dashboard, not still on the login form. Use the dashboard to manage your plan, view your subscription, get the client, and submit support tickets. This guide is on a marketing page, which serves a different purpose. Return to the same account whenever you need your subscription; switching devices doesn’t mean you need another account.

If the page says your username is already taken, consider whether you may have created an account before. If nothing happens after you submit, read the prompts beside the fields and check for missing or inconsistent entries. Never send your full password to support or include login details in a public screenshot. Once you can access the dashboard, continue to plan selection.

PLAN

Check data allowances and billing

Choose a plan and confirm your order

Open the Plans section of the dashboard and compare monthly subscriptions with data packages. Monthly subscriptions are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB; data resets monthly on the activation date. Data packages are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They last until used and never expire. The difference is how billing and data usage work—not how many devices you can use.

For regular use, compare monthly subscriptions against your typical data needs. If your usage varies, consider a data package. Before choosing, read the plan details in the dashboard and check the price, data allowance, and billing terms. VPNRV accepts Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. Follow the payment instructions shown on the order page, and don’t transfer funds to payment details provided elsewhere.

After paying, return to the dashboard and check that the order is marked complete and the corresponding plan or data allowance appears in your account. Closing the payment page doesn’t confirm that the order has been processed. If the status hasn’t changed, check the original order and payment before placing another one. Keep your order records for billing queries, but hide personal payment details before sharing screenshots.

All plans support unlimited devices and include a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you upgrade mid-term, the price difference is converted into remaining days; check the final amount shown in the dashboard. See the Plans page for plan details and refund information. This step is complete once the dashboard shows your subscription benefits as available.

SUBSCRIPTION

Send your subscription from the dashboard to your client

Get your subscription link

Once your plan is confirmed, open the account overview in the user dashboard and find the subscription section. The subscription link gives your client the route configuration associated with your account. It isn’t a website address for a particular region or an installer. Use the dashboard’s import option for your client if available. To import manually, copy the link and paste it into the subscription or configuration page in your client.

Keep the copied link intact. Don’t remove parameters at the end or replace any characters with Chinese punctuation. Paste it into a client field for an option such as “Import from link,” not into a username, password, or route description field. If your system asks which app to open, check that it’s the client you intend to use before allowing the handoff.

Your subscription link contains information needed to access your configuration, so protect it like your account credentials. Don’t post it in public groups, online conversion tools, or screenshots of support issues. If you need to report an import error, share the error text and client name instead of the full link. If you think the link has been exposed, stop sharing it and check the dashboard for a reset option. See the Help Center for guidance.

What to expect at this step

You’ve retrieved your subscription from your own dashboard or opened it in the correct client. It’s normal not to see a “Connected” status yet; next, import the subscription and choose a route.

CLIENT

Select your device platform

Import the client for your platform

Open the Client Downloads section in the user dashboard and choose the operating system for your device. Clients for Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux are available after you log in, even without a purchased plan. Getting a client and getting an active subscription are separate steps. For iOS, you need a purchased, unexpired plan to access the download option; continue using the method provided in the dashboard. Use the client with your account, and don’t download installers from unfamiliar search results.

These instructions use the VPNRV client, which supports subscription imports. After installation, find the Subscription or Configuration page, add your link, and update the route list. Then choose a configuration to use. You can either import manually or open the client from the dashboard; there’s no need to add the same subscription twice.

Windows: Add a subscription configuration

Get the Windows desktop client from the dashboard and install it. Open the client, go to subscription or configuration management, and look for an option such as “Add,” “Import,” or “Import from URL.” Paste the subscription link you copied, give the configuration a recognizable local name, save it, and update it. If the dashboard offers an import option that opens the app, you can use that instead and confirm the client in the system prompt.

After the update, you should see regional routes to choose from, not just an empty configuration name. Select the configuration you just imported and open the route selection page. If the app offers several ways to handle network traffic, start with its default connection setup. Don’t enable every advanced option just to be thorough; explore system proxy, routing, and other settings after the connection works.

macOS: Import and check system permissions

Get the macOS desktop client from the dashboard, follow the system installation prompts, and open the app. Add the link in the configuration or subscription list, or use the matching import option in the dashboard. Save and update the configuration, check that the route list has loaded, and set the new configuration as the active one. After the browser hands off to the app, return to the client to check the result; a browser confirmation alone doesn’t mean the import succeeded.

When connecting, macOS may ask to let the app add a network configuration or confirm related system permissions. Verify the app’s identity, then follow the system prompt to allow it. Don’t repeatedly reinstall the app just because the connection hasn’t started yet. If macOS blocks the app, read the specific reason shown by the system and troubleshoot using the dashboard instructions or Help Center. Avoid turning off system security settings.

Android: Add a configuration from a link

Log in to the dashboard, get the Android client, install it, and open it. Go to the subscription, configuration, or add-configuration page, choose the link import option, paste the complete subscription link, and save. If tapping import in the dashboard opens an app picker, select the VPNRV client you intend to use. If nothing opens, switch to manual paste instead of repeatedly tapping the import button.

Update the subscription in the client and choose a configuration once the regional routes appear. On the first connection, Android may show a network connection prompt; confirm it so the app can handle the relevant traffic. If the connection drops when you switch to another app, first check whether your system restricts the app’s background activity and adjust the device settings as needed. Settings vary by manufacturer, so don’t assume every interruption means the subscription has expired.

iOS: Get and import through the dashboard

In an account with an active plan, open the Client Downloads section and choose iOS. Follow the dashboard link to get the VPNRV client from the App Store. After installation, return to the dashboard and use the import option in the subscription section. If your browser asks to open the client, confirm and check that the configuration appears in the app. If the client offers link import, you can also copy the subscription and add it directly in the app.

Update the configuration, select a route, and allow the VPN configuration when prompted by iOS. Complete any additional system confirmation. Importing the configuration and granting system permission are separate steps: the subscription name may appear before the app is authorized to connect. If the dashboard hasn’t made the iOS download option available, check that your plan is active instead of using a link from an unknown source.

Linux is also supported. Log in to the dashboard, choose the relevant client, and add the configuration using the subscription import steps. On every platform, this step is complete when the route list has loaded and the configuration you want is selected. You can use the same account to get your subscription on other devices, with no device limit. Don’t take that to mean you should share your account credentials publicly.

VERIFY

Make sure the client is actually working

Connect to a route and verify it works

Choose a regional route from the updated configuration and connect. For your first connection, keep the default rules and check whether the client reports a successful connection. Then open the website or app you want to use. Close and reopen it first if needed, so it starts a fresh connection. The system status bar icon alone doesn’t confirm that traffic from your target app is being handled as expected.

First check that the website opens, then test the feature you actually need—for example, whether a page loads after login, a file request completes, or an AI tool keeps returning responses. Loading the homepage doesn’t mean every feature is working. Streaming and AI services may limit available content based on account region, exit region, and their own rules; not every prompt or error means the client was installed incorrectly.

If it doesn’t work, retrace the setup steps: check whether the dashboard shows active benefits, the client updated successfully, the right configuration is selected, and system permissions are enabled. If a route seems faulty, test another one. If the subscription list is empty, check the import and update first. Change one setting at a time and note what happens; it’s easier to find the cause than by switching protocols, routes, and proxy modes all at once.

Once connected

Keep the working configuration and update your subscription when needed. For help, see Connection and Troubleshooting FAQ. To learn about direct connections, relays, IEPL dedicated lines, and protocol differences, read the Technical Reference for Protocols and Routes. That’s the end of the getting-started process—you don’t need to learn every networking term first.

For help, submit a support ticket from the user dashboard. Include your device’s operating system, client name, the step where the issue occurred, and the exact error text. Hide your subscription link and login details before sharing screenshots so support can focus on the issue instead of retracing the entire installation.
